Im sitting downtown alone in “the office” waiting for people to show up. Yeah I am that last guy that uses rabbit ears. That may cause some people to never visit again. Sorry kinda.

Anyways, today IMC is opening up for 12 hours for people to spend extended times in prayer. So, I am getting ready to engage in some extended prayer myself. Seems like I can meet 10 people on the street and hear 10 different reasons, opinions, purposes, observations, and value one does or doesn’t gain from engaging in deep prayer. Yesterday I was sitting in a room full of people. I was the only person wearing a hat. Someone said a prayer. I didn’t take my hat off. Many people think that is offensive. Even….if there not sure why? Some believe only certain types of people can pray. And people really argue about who or what each of us can and are praying to. For something that can be so powerful, so moving, and so very liberating, there sure is a fair share of confusion. And yet prayer is universally accepted as a means to engage our Creator. Interesting.

I need to go devote myself to prayer now. Talk more later.
